Oil Absorbent Pillow

Description: ECS Oil & Hydrocarbon Pillows are made to block, surround and absorb spills of acids, bases and unknown liquid flows.   Socks are specially treated to absorb high concentrations of oils including animal, synthetic, vegetable, organic and petroleum hydrocarbons.   

  • Pillows can hug corners and walls, surrounding the machines bases absorbing the spills or flows. 
  • Contained absorbent makes cleanup quick and easy.
  • Polypropylene and polyester filler is chemical-resistant for containing and absorbing corrosive or reactive spills.
  • Polyester filter skin is chemical and tear-resistant; reduces dust and holds in liquid, even when fully saturated. 
  • Can be sent for bio remediation for re-use or incinerated after use to reduce waste.

Construction / Features:

This oil spill cleanup pillow is environmentally friendly. ECS sorbent pillows are constructed of a polyester filter mesh material that will increase the flow of liquid to be absorbed by the  polyester/polypropylene media.  The media is hydrophobic to release water proving a effective sorbent filter.

Our media is our propriety blend of post consumer products.  Old carpet, carpet padding and other recyclable polyester and polypropylene media materials are blended to provide a new product that is engineered to effectively absorb as a sorbent corrosive, reactive, oil, hydrocarbon spills.
